CABINET ACCESSORIES
& DETAILS
because your space is personal
There are plenty more options out there, but these are some of the most common, most requested.
If you see something else you're curious about, just ask.
DRAWER DIVIDER
A perfect fit for 15-24" wide drawers
These typically arrive as a kit which is cut to size on-site by your installer. Several widths and section spacings are available, depending on your drawer size and storage needs. So NO searching for the perfect divider any longer!
DOUBLE TRASH 35 QUART
Shorter cans with a cabinet drawer
For an 18" or 21" wide cabinet, most cabinet manufacturers offer these pre-installed. Notice this preserves the cabinet's top drawer.
DOUBLE TRASH 50 QUART
"Tall" size cans, no cabinet drawer
For an 18" or 21" cabinet, these cans are almost the same size as your typical 13 gallon "tall" bins. Therefore, there is no top drawer. Not all cabinet manufacturers offer this as an option pre-installed, but it's typically available after-market as well, for installation on-site.
ROLL OUT TRAYS
Available in many widths in base or tall cabinets
Roll out trays as highly recommended in any tall pantry cabinet, as without them, small items are easily lost on deep shelves. In base cabinets, they can help corral pots, pans, and food storage containers and can help make small appliances more accessible from low cabinetry.
SPICE PULL OUT
For 9" or 12" full-door base cabinets
If you have a nice spice collection, you may love a spice pull out! The 9" pull out is pictured, but these come as slim as 3" and as wide as 18". Often the shelves are adjustable or removable, to also accommodate bottles like oils and vinegars.
SINK BASE TILT OUT
Store sponges out of sight
Available in a variety of widths and in white, almond or stainless steel. Includes the hinges and can be pre-installed by some cabinet manufacturers.
TRAY BASE CABINET
For cookie sheets, cutting boards, and serving trays.
The simplest "Tray Base" cabinet is 9" wide with no drawer and no divider/insert. At 9" wide, no divider is needed (although pictured here). Sometimes a top drawer is useful if your trays aren't tall. If you have many trays, wider cabinets can be adapted to store trays vertically as well.
TRAY DIVIDERS
For base or deep wall cabinets
Depending on how may trays you own (or plan to own), you may appreciate tray dividers. These work well inside a wider base cabinet, over a wall oven, or in a deep over-fridge cabinet.
BLIND CORNER ACCESSORY
...if your plan must include a blind corner!
No one likes a blind corner cabinet... the stuff we place in there may never be seen again. So if your plan must have a blind corner cabinet, these accessories are a big help. Available in a variety of widths and materials, depending on your cabinet size (and budget!).
WINE STORAGE
Decorative and Functional
Wine storage in the kitchen can come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Combined with a bar fridge, bar sink, or just a bar counter, it can be functional and decorative.
GLASS DOORS
Clearly not for everyone!
Glass doors can be beautiful in a kitchen, if you can commit to styling the contents forever! If your kitchen is small, perhaps no glass doors is the best option, as you may need all the function you can squeeze out of each inch of cabinet. But if you're lucky enough to have some space to spare, glass doors are a great way to break up a line of cabinet doors, add some depth, reflect some light, or add pops of color with your choice of shelf decor.
LIGHT RAIL MOLDING
aka under cabinet molding
It used to be that under-cabinet lighting was chunky, and we needed molding to cover the mechanisms. However, LED strip lighting is so versatile, there's no need for bulky lights... or light rail to cover them. However, this detail can still be beautiful! Light rail molding is available in different shapes and sizes specific to each cabinet manufacturer.
CROWN MOLDING
Project Tagline
The styles available to you will depend on the cabinet manufacturer. These can be installed alone, or with a riser to help it meet the ceiling.
